A note on data and privacy.
We keep this short and direct. CastWorks collects very little. What we do collect, we use carefully.

What we collect
When you submit a brief through the form on this site, we collect what you give us: typically your name, your email, your company, and the details of your campaign brief. Nothing else. We don't run analytics on this site, we don't set advertising cookies, and we don't track you across the web.
Where it goes
Three services touch your data, all based in the United States:
- Formspree receives the intake form and forwards the contents to our inbox. Their policy lives at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Workspace hosts our email, including any reply thread that grows from your brief.
- Google Fonts loads two typefaces from Google's CDN when you visit, which briefly exposes your IP address to Google. We are aware of the concerns around this and plan to self-host the fonts in a future deploy.
We don't share your data with anyone outside these processors. We don't sell it. We don't pass it to creators unless you've explicitly asked us to.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under GDPR, we rely on two legal bases. When you send us a brief, we process your data to take steps toward a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For ongoing communication and record-keeping after that, we rely on our legitimate interest in running the business (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against your right to object at any time.
How long we keep it
If we work together, we hold your data for the length of the engagement plus the period required by applicable tax and contracting law (typically up to seven years for invoicing records).
If we don't work together, say you submit a brief and we never proceed, we hold what you sent for twelve months and then delete it. The window exists so that if you come back later, we still have the context.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to:
- Show you what we have on you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Export it so you can take it elsewhere
- Stop processing it
Send any of these requests to hello@castworks.co. We act on them within thirty days. If you think we have handled your data poorly, you can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
